She obtained a Master’s degree in law from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and having passed with distinction an examination of professional competence she has worked as a legal adviser since 2010. In 2000–2013 she cooperated with Dr Krystian Ziemski & Partners Kancelaria Prawna sp.k. as a specialist in broader business and civil law (including public procurement law, contract law, insurance and real estate law as well as issues involving real estate, civil and administrative law), also performing the role of the public procurement team leader supervising the work of that team. She has a command of German and English.

Experience in the execution of selected projects:

  • provision of comprehensive legal advice relating to the application of the Public Procurement Law Act to undertakings operating in various sectors, e.g.: an international consulting company supplying design and engineering services (including on-site supervision, performing the function of Contract Engineer); an international company supplying services in the following areas: Contact Centre, IT solutions, logistics, financial services, archiving, e-commerce; Polish service companies providing IT solutions (comprehensive library management systems; RFID systems);
  • preparation of legal remedies provided for in the Public Procurement Law Act, representation of Contractors in various proceedings before the National Appeal Chamber and courts of law;
  • preparation of legal opinions on the possibility of awarding, in specific circumstances, contracts in negotiated procedures (including additional and supplementary contracts) and amending the provisions of public contracts;
  • providing support to the Clients in re-negotiating public contracts with Contracting Authorities or Contractors (annexes, additional or supplementary contracts);
  • representation of the Clients in legal proceedings related to the assertion of claims against Contracting Authorities or Contractors in connection with the performance or termination of public contracts;
  • preparation of legal opinions on the possibility to entrust the performance of the responsibilities of regional or local authorities to municipal companies without the application of the procedures laid down in the Public Procurement Law Act (the so-called in-house contracts);
  • preparation of legal opinions on the indispensability of applying the provisions of the Public Procurement Law Act to the award of public contracts by owned by semi-public companies;
   
  • preparation of legal opinions on the scope of application of the Public Procurement Law Act to spending funds from the European Union assistance programmes;
  • provision of advisory services and representation of Clients in matters relating to real estate transactions for investment purposes (carrying out legal audits of real estate; designing, preparing legal opinions on and negotiating preparatory and final contracts concerning the transfer of or making a real estate property available for use, including under a lease; safeguarding of transactions; aspects of real estate (including agricultural land) management falling under administration law, the acquisition of real estate by foreign nationals);
  • provision of advisory services and representation of Clients in matters relating to civil-law aspects of implementing construction investment projects (designing, preparing legal opinions on and negotiating construction contracts; advice on establishing the terms and conditions of cooperation between the participants in the investment process from the preparatory phase to the completion of the investment project and the clearance of accounts);
  • supply of comprehensive legal services in a number of investment projects to an economic operator active in the transport, forwarding and logistics business;
  • representation of Clients in civil-law cases before courts of law, e.g. in proceedings relating to property or other rights in rem concerning real estate (protection of possession, establishment and removal of rights in rem);
  • provision of comprehensive advisory services to an international insurance company operating in Poland, offering insurance products in cooperation with banks and financial intermediaries;
  • provision of advisory services to a local authority in negotiations related to a ‘large’ investment project with the participation of a private partner, of a value exceeding PLN 100 million.
